By subscribing to or using the internet services provided by Universal WiFi, you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

Universal WiFi provides internet access and related services to residential and business customers in Botswana. Service availability depends on network coverage and technical feasibility.

2. Account Registration & Responsibility

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.

  • Any activity under your account is your responsibility unless reported as unauthorized.

3. Service Installation & Equipment

  • Our technicians will install required equipment at your location.

  • Equipment remains the property of Universal WiFi unless stated otherwise.

  • Customers must not tamper with, relocate, or modify equipment without permission.

4. Payment & Billing

  • Billing is done monthly in advance.

  • Payments are due by the date specified on the invoice.

  • Late payments may result in service suspension or additional charges.

  • Reconnection fees may apply after suspension.

5. Fair Usage & Network Management

  • All users are expected to use the internet responsibly.

  • Excessive or abusive use (e.g., spamming, illegal downloads, or hacking attempts) may result in throttling or suspension.

  • We reserve the right to manage traffic during peak hours to ensure fair access for all users.

6. Service Availability & Interruptions

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

  • Planned maintenance and unforeseen issues may cause temporary disruptions.

  • Universal WiFi is not liable for losses caused by service downtime or network failures.

7. Termination of Service

  • You may terminate your service with at least 7 days’ notice.

  • Universal WiFi may suspend or terminate service for non-payment or violation of these terms.

  • All outstanding dues must be settled before disconnection.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your information without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Universal WiFi is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost business, data loss)

  • Damages from third-party apps or services accessed via our network

  • Service disruptions caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government actions)

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these terms periodically. Updated terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gaborone.
